As Director of Development, Jay Moehring has been with Biederman/Owens Entertainment since 2003 and has played an important role in initiating and maintaining many of the relationships with major showrunners, as well as with broadcast and cable buyers. In addition to collaborating with Jerry and Chris on several show ideas, Moehring has also been responsible for much of the research needed to support the various concepts. This includes casting searches, investigating industry trends, pursuing corporate sponsorships, managing staff, and maintaining communications with the industry at large.

Prior to joining Biederman/Owens, Moehring has had a long history in celebrity management and has assisted with television production companies such as Dalaklis / McKeown Entertainment, YeagerVision, and Mother Nature Films.

In front of the camera (or the microphone), Moehring has participated as a performer in a number of music videos. He also narrated "The Santa Barbara Home Show," as well as various fund-raising videos. Moehring was the host of "Jazz Breakfast with Jason," a popular weekly morning show for radio station KRML in Carmel-By-The-Sea.   Additionally, he has been a musician for many years and has produced radio commercials under his own banner of JMAN Productions.
